The French major within the School of Languages and Cultures offers a full range of courses in language, literature, linguistics, second language acquisition, pedagogy, and film. The French program has many options for study abroad programs that range from a week to a full academic year abroad. French is a vibrant, international program with diverse research, engaging teaching, and in-depth social interests.

All liberal arts majors prepare students with the skills identified as contributing to managerial success:  communicating and listening well, possessing insights into others, creative/critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to make connections across complex ideas.
