Deadlines to Accept Admission Offers

First-year and Spring Start (College of Agriculture)

Fall Term and Spring Start (College of Agriculture)

Students admitted by April 10 must accept their offer by May 1, 11:59 p.m. ET. Students admitted after April 10 have three weeks from admission decision to accept.

Spring Term

Students admitted by December 1 must accept their offer by December 15. Students admitted after December 1 have up to three weeks or until the start of the semester, whichever comes first, to accept their offer.

Summer Term

Students admitted by May 1 must accept their offer by June 1. Students admitted after May 1 have up to three weeks or until the start of the term, whichever comes first, to accept their admission offer.

A nonrefundable $500 deposit will be required at the time you accept your offer. The deposit will be applied toward first-term fees. The nonrefundable deposit may be paid by e-check or with Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Visa credit cards. Be sure to select the term you were admitted to when paying your deposit.

The online payment system to accept your offer and pay your deposit is not compatible with Internet Explorer. Using a different browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, is recommended.

Some students will not be required to pay the $500 deposit, but still must accept their offer of admission by the appropriate deadline. The student portal, myPurdue, recognizes students who are exempt from the fee and will allow them to accept their offer without payment.

Decline Your Offer of Admission

If you wish to decline (cancel) your offer of admission, go to your Purdue application portal and from the “Application” drop-down menu select “Cancel Application” to submit the cancelation form.
