Why Purdue?
Applying
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio of work demonstrating your interest in studio arts is required at the time of application. You are asked to upload 10-15 images of artwork in any media when completing the online application. Portfolios should include your best and most recent work and may also include sketchbook images and digital projects. For digital video submissions, please include a video still image and a link to the video online (e.g. on YouTube or Vimeo). Additional details, such as information about medium, dimensions, or a brief discussion of the idea behind the work, may be included.
Purdue’s Common Application does not provide an upload link for the portfolio of creative work, which is required for applicants to the BFA in Integrated Studio Arts. Rather, students applying to the Integrated Studio Arts, BFA (portfolio required) program will be required to submit a portfolio through your Purdue application status portal after submission of the Common App.
