Shreya Rastogi
When it came to choosing Purdue, the strength of the integrated business and engineering program was the deciding factor for Shreya Rastogi. Her classes and presidential role in the Integrated Business and Engineering Student Council give Shreya insight into her goals, and have led to her internships at Beats by Dre and AT&T. These experiences have helped Shreya gain the skills needed to pursue her interests in project management and business analyst roles following graduation.
Abigail Roy
Abigail Roy, a senior in integrated business and engineering at Purdue’s Daniels School of Business, reflects on her experience balancing Division I soccer with a rigorous academic workload, crediting time management, study groups and mental health support for her success. Throughout her college career, she juggled demanding coursework — including math, science, marketing, coding and accounting—with structured athletic routines. Looking ahead, she’s chosen to pursue a professional soccer career —potentially overseas. Believing her athletic drive and business education are complementary, she’s already secured an agent and is awaiting opportunities to join European clubs.
Elizabeth Miller
Elizabeth Miller’s journey — from single mother to trailblazing Purdue graduate — exemplifies resilience, determination and vision. As the first graduate of Purdue’s integrated business and engineering (IBE) program in May 2024, Elizabeth balanced coursework, leadership roles in projects like EPICS and TA work empowering young women in business, all while parenting her young son late into the night. Juggling credits earned at Ivy Tech, prior work experience and single parenthood, she credits a key mindset lesson — “learn how to run your own race” — for keeping her focused on deeply personal, self-defined success rather than comparison. Recognized by Purdue — where a women’s EV go‑kart was fittingly named “Lady Elizabeth” — she now works as an operations analyst at Toyota Material Handling, applying her tech and business know‑how while raising her four‑year‑old son.
