Isha Tripathy
Isha Tripathy, a double major in economics and business analytics, spent her summer as a data analyst intern at Nike’s global headquarters. There, she applied her passion for analytics to a sustainability project, mapping Nike’s most carbon-intensive transport routes to identify eco-friendly improvements. This hands-on experience not only sharpened her analytical and communication skills but also deepened her interest in sustainable supply chains. Immersed in Nike’s dynamic culture and inspired by company leaders and athletes, Isha found the internship both fulfilling and aligned with her career goals—combining sport, data, and sustainability in a truly impactful way.
Ava Leffel
My coursework at the Daniels school has been instrumental in developing my critical business skills, particularly in analytical thinking and communication. One of my most impactful courses was MGMT 254: Legal Foundations of Business with Professor Cliff Fisher. Through an honors contract, I was able to write a full legal research paper, which challenged me to analyze legal documents, interpret case law and statutes, and construct well grounded arguments. This experience gave me perspective about legal and ethical considerations in the business world, while also improving my research and writing skills.
