BOP Summer Session

Kickstart your college journey with BOP Summer Session. Designed to support first-generation, lower-income and under-resourced students, the BOP Summer Session prepares first-year students in the Mitch Daniels School of Business for the rigors of the curriculum and jumpstarts your career in business and community leadership.

BOP is a fully-funded, five-week summer experience offered in conjunction with Purdue’s Early Start program. You’ll earn eight credit hours during the BOP Summer Session while:

  • Living with BOP students on the same floor of a residence hall
  • Getting acquainted with campus culture
  • Networking with corporate executives and successful alumni
  • Preparing for the challenges of the Daniels School of Business curriculum

2026 Program Dates

  • Complete application: March 15
  • BOP Summer Session admission notifications begin: April 1
  • Move in: July 11
  • Classes: July 13-Aug. 14

Key Next Steps:

  1. If you haven’t already, accept your offer of admission for fall.
  2. After you accept your offer of admission, log in to myPurdue  to access and complete the fall housing portal application. Note: There is a short delay of approximately two days between the time you accept your offer of admission and when you can access the housing portal in myPurdue.
  3. Log in to your admissions application portal using the email address you provided on your admission application (do not use your @purdue.edu address).
  4. Select “Reply Forms” from the top menu on your dashboard. It may take up to five business days for this option to appear after you accept your offer of admission.
  5. In the new window that opens, scroll down and select “Switch to Early Start.”* It may take up to five business days for your New Student Checklist to update after switching to Early Start, including summer housing registration details.

*By switching to Early Start, you’re canceling your enrollment to begin at Purdue in the fall and will begin in the summer term instead.
