On-Campus Group Visits
Thank you for your interest in bringing your students to explore Purdue! Group visits with the Purdue Office of Admissions are designed for middle school and high-school-age students.
- Group tours are offered most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the academic year.
- Group size should be at least 15 and no more than a total of 53 visitors.
- Groups should include at least 1 adult chaperone for every 10 students.
- All tours start at 10 a.m. from the award-winning France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center. You’ll begin with a 60-minute campus tour and end with a 30-minute admissions presentation.
- There’s lots of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Dress appropriately for rain (bring umbrellas) and snow.
- We are unable to show student residence rooms or lectures halls on our tours.
- You are welcome to plan ahead so that after the campus tour and presentation, your group can enjoy lunch at one of our student dining courts. For costs and availability, contact: dining-reservations@purdue.edu.
- Leave for Purdue early, allowing enough time for possible delays. Keep in mind that West Lafayette is on Eastern Time year-round. (West Lafayette recognizes Daylight Saving Time.)
- Arrive on time. Call if you are running late, 765-494-1776, so we can attempt to adjust your visit itinerary. Please realize that facilities and staff schedules are limited. In the event of a late arrival, some of the scheduled activities may need to be canceled.
- Encourage your students to ask questions so that they get the most out of the visit.
- Ensure that everyone in your group is respectful of Purdue students, staff, facilities, and personal property. Failure to do so could result in early conclusion of the visit and limited availability for future visits by your organization.
- Enjoy your time on campus!
Your Office of Admissions group visit concludes at noon, if you would like to organize additional activities, you may use the contact information below to explore availabilities.
