There are numerous great things about Purdue, so it’s difficult to choose just one. But I appreciate the friendly campus support programs that are embedded into the Purdue campus culture. They make you feel like you never left home.

What is an early outreach coordinator?

I work to increase the college-going rate of students in Lake County, Indiana, with a focus on serving historically underserved communities. I provide guidance and support to students from middle school through high school, helping them and their families navigate the college search, application and selection process. Through engaging presentations and events, I foster awareness of higher education opportunities, build confidence in the college-going journey and promote strategies for academic success throughout students’ educational pathways.
