Freshman Scholarships for Fall 2010*
November 15, 2009, is the firm admission application deadline for Purdue’s Trustees and Presidential scholarships and the priority deadline for all other Purdue scholarships. To meet the deadline, the admission application must be complete by this date. A complete application includes all required material including ACT or SAT test score (including writing), high school transcript, and application fee.
The Trustees and Presidential scholarships are awarded automatically to qualified students. There also are a limited number of smaller merit scholarships, as well as need-based scholarships, that are awarded through a scholarship application process. The deadline for admitted students to submit the separate scholarship application for these awards is February 15, 2010. To maximize consideration for all possible scholarships, students should meet these deadlines and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2010.
Trustees and Presidential Scholarships
Admitted students who meet the academic criteria for these awards will receive them automatically if they complete their admission application by November 15. Students who meet the application deadline may submit new SAT or ACT test scores for scholarship consideration until January 1, 2010. New scores must be sent electronically from the testing agency. Only domestic students are eligible for the Trustees and Presidential scholarships.
