Prepharmacy

School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Prepharmacy serves the role of a preparatory major for the Doctor of Pharmacy (professional) program.  For admission into the professional curriculum leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.), completion of the entire prepharmacy program is required.  Due to program enhancements, the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is in the process of changing the prepharmacy curriculum.  Beginning students entering in the Fall 2010 school year to be considered for the 2012 Doctor of Pharmacy class may be required to take an additional summer session.  Admission into and completion of the prepharmacy program does not guarantee admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy program.

Priority admission application deadline for fall 2010 - November 15, 2009.
