Purdue Graduate Success
Purdue graduates enjoy a high degree of success as they transition from their undergraduate education to careers or graduate study. Most years, well over 90% of new graduates report success in finding jobs, continuing their education, or pursuing other plans (such as the Peace Corps or Teach for America) within six months of graduation. Even during the current recession, 88% of new graduates report success with their post-grad plans.
Each year, Purdue's Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) surveys May graduates to collect data on success rates and average starting salaries. CCO provides this information online.
Professional Practice
Many Purdue students pursue internships or cooperative education programs to gain work experience as part of their education.
